Pet policy

The Paintbrush Motel allows some pets to stay in some rooms, with the permission of the manager. Small, housebroken dogs are generally permitted to stay in certain rooms. We charge the same rate per dog as per additional person..... i.e. - 2 people with 1 dog pay the rate for 3 persons in the room.

Dogs are only permitted when a customer pays by credit card, or posts a $100 cash deposit. If you try to sneak in an unreported dog, you will pay a $100 fine. We have a grassy area in front of the motel office where your dog may releive him/herself, but you must clean up after your pet. All pets must be walked on a leash, must be licensed in your home community, and must have current rabies vaccination. No unattended dogs may be left uncaged in a room. Barking is not permitted - this is a motel, not a kennel.
There is a veterinarian about 1 block south of the motel on Federal Boulevard.

The following are not permitted -

large dogs (over 50 pounds, except seeing eye dogs), cats, birds, snakes, lizards, rodents, rabbits, farm animals
